SS – Day15

Weight: 185.6

Squats:  2x5x45 + 1x5x80 + 1x3x125 + 1x2x165 + 3x5x210

Bench: 2x5x45 + 1x5x70 + 1x3x95 + 1x2x125 + 5/5/3 x 140

Pullups: 2/1/1

Squats weren't bad today. Had shorter rest periods today too compared to Wednesday's session. Bench stalled hard on the last set. Can feel my right dominant pressing coming out again. I need to figure out how I can solve this...very frustrating. Pullups were weaker today.

SS – Day14

Weight: 185.3

Squats:  2x5x45 + 1x5x80 + 1x3x120 + 1x2x160 + 3x5x205

Press: 3x5x45 + 1x3x55 + 1x2x70 + 5x3x85

Deadlift: 2x5x90 + 1x3x135 + 1x2x190 + 1x5x225

Today was absolutely brutal. First workout where I felt like I was completely spent. Usually, I look forward to the deadlifts on deadlift day, but it was just a daunting task ahead of me after the press.

Used the belt for the first time today. They were insanely tight on me! I guess the extra flab wasn't present last time I used the belt.

Top set of the squat was insane. Almost stalled on a rep on the 4th rep of the 2nd set.

Presses were difficult from the fatigue I suffered from the heavy squats. Many times I got stuck under the bar. Moving the elbows forward and making sure they didn't flare out definitely helped with pressing the weight up.

Deadlifts were a nightmare at the end of the session. The previous person using the platform left the deadlift bar with 4 plates on there so I had to remove each one off. Just getting the equipment off the platform, alone, was a gruelling task. Belt surely helped with pulling on the deadlift. Still using a regular grip. Held lockout at the top of the last rep as long as my hands could bear.

SS – Day13

Weight: 186.5

Squats:  2x5x45 + 1x5x80 + 1x3x120 + 1x2x160 + 3x5x200

Bench: 2x5x45 + 1x5x65 + 1x3x90 + 1x2x120 + 5/5/4 x 135

Tough day today. Squat form felt pretty awful. Either I did a good morning or my hips and knees moved forward, thereby losing all my hamstring leverage. I think I will be using the belt on the top set moving forward. Right shoulder rotator was a bit tight when getting under the bar.

Missed a rep on the bench today. My form was way off. My right arm was pressing most of the load and so it became too fatigued for the last rep of the last set. Frustrating.
