Week 11 - 5/3/1 - Day 39

Cycle #3

Press:  5xBar + 5x80, 3x90, 3x100 Rep PR

I didn't use false grip on the last set.  I made it a point to keep the bar at the base of my palms.  Usually, as the weights go up, my wrists tend to buckle from my forearms' becoming too fatigued to support the wrists.  Hit a rep PR.  I was mildly happy about it probably due in part to being stuck on this lift for so long.

Boring But Big 70%

Bench Press: 3x10xBar + 4x10x115, 1x6x115

Gassed out on the last set.  My chest was feeling especially fatigued.  The bar felt heavier than last week.

Chin-ups:  4/3/2/2/2

Curls:  3x10x40 + ***Tricep pushdown:  3x10x35 + Face pull: *3x10x25

Treadmill:  

3min. warm-up 2 x 1min. 5spd/1min. 3spd

Week 10 - 5/3/1 - Day 38

Cycle #3

Squat:  5x115, 5x135, 3x155, 2x175 + 3x205, 3x230, 4x260

These were very heavy.  I had my belt on for them.  Fourth rep, I leaned over quite a bit and felt like I did a good morning.

Boring But Big 70%

Deadlift:  8/6/5/4/4 x 205

Used a belt on all the sets.  Probably shouldn't of done that, but I was feeling especially exhausted after the squat core lift.

Hanging Knee Raise: 8/6/5

Felt pretty weak on these- skipping them obviously the cause.

Treadmill:  

10% incline 3 min. 2.5 spd warm-up 2 x 1 min. 5.0 spd / 1 min. 3.0 spd

Week 10 - 5/3/1 - Day 37

Cycle #3

Bench Press:  3x10xBar + 3x115, 3x135, 7x150 Rep PR

These felt great today.  I think I could have gotten another 1 to 2 reps.  I didn't use an excessive powerlifter arch.  Index finger was on the knurling.

Press:  10/7/6/5/4 +** DB Row:  **5x10x35

Press was a bit harder today than the previous press.

Curls: ** 3x10x40 + Tricep pushdown:  3x10x35 + Face pull:  **3x10x25
